Meet the team
A little bit about us...
Head of Marketing and Buyer Success
Steve has been at Applegate over 11 years and knows the business inside out. If you need to know anything Applegate related, Steve is the one to ask! Steve juggles loads of different projects, and is a real people person, managing the biggest team at Applegate. In his free time Steve can often be found walking his dog Harley with his little boy.
Gina joined us in March 2020 having come from a primarily marketing and client services background. North Devon born and bred, Gina enjoys family life here, and she can confirm, a Devon Cream Tea is most definitely cream first, then jam!
Buyer Support Team Leader and HR Executive
A dynamo of the office, Joanna manages the Buyer Success team and also looks after HR for the company. Joanna’s highlights at Applegate have been speaking in Parliament for National Apprentice Week and meeting Prince Charles on our behalf. Joanna’s passion outside work is netball, setting up her own team the Tarka Springs, and also playing in the South West Regional League.
Digital Marketing Executive
Jon arrived at Applegate 6 years ago fresh faced and ready to achieve great things. Jon’s a man that can turn his hand to anything, he organised the office move a couple of years ago, he is responsible for management of the premises and updating and maintaining our tech hardware, and manages large areas of marketing data and scheduling for Applegate. Jon’s a real family man, who will do anything for those closest to him, but he’s often best known for ruining an office quiz - he’s never lost one!
Buyer Success Executive
Following on from completing her A levels in the Summer of 2022, Ruby has recently joined the buyer management team helping to ensure that all buyer’s have a good experience here at Applegate. Ruby has already received fantastic feedback from our buyer community. If you require quotes, Ruby, alongside our Buyer Management Team will happily assist - and don’t forget you’ll earn Cashback too! Ruby’s favourite way to spend the weekend is to go on beach walks which are always followed by a nice café and she agrees with Gina that it is most definitely cream before jam!
